Hi! I’m Laurie, the founder of Simply Lou Organics!

 

I am a natural-minded esthetician, wife, and homeschooling mom of three.

Since I was a young child, I have dealt with many difficult skin ailments including eczema, psoriasis, alopecia, rosacea, different types of dermatitis, and extremely dry and cracked skin. These ongoing issues led me to pursue a career as an esthetician. After graduating esthetician school in 2011, I worked at a European spa and developed a passion for treating the skin. After leaving the spa, I worked for a naturopath doctor and realized the importance of using beautiful, clean ingredients to treat both the inside and outside of the body.

As an esthetician, it is incredibly frustrating to see expensive products with less money and focus going into quality ingredients, and more going into fancy bottles, labels, and “statement” ingredients. These products look amazing, but tend to be poor quality or contain harmful ingredients.

Because of this, I started making my own skincare products for my family in 2013. By 2017, I had requests to make skincare for friends and family as well.  My business has been organically growing ever since. I focus on using simple and clean ingredients that bring beautiful results.
